      hello VT,
      Sorry it’s a bug ! This only happens in MAX 2012 . NURBS property methods don’t work as they use to work in earlier version of max , I’m trying to find a way around it . I shall fix it in next release.

      When I try to select the NURBS surface with “Pick Object” in the last release appears this: –Unknown property: “surfaces” in $NURBS_Surface:Surface001 @ [coordinates of the surface] and it doesn’t work. Where’s the problem? Thanks.

      yes,
      In PARA II,
      Check all the vertices or FFD control points under MASTER category, and then assign a Surface Controller. Under surface controller settings find the UVW offsets VECTOR , drag a SUB OBJECT controller from the controller library into this channel. Then click on the channel to see the Subobject controller settings. The length/width and height controls the size of the panel. These parameters allow you to modify the size of the object along the array; all you need to do is assigning a controller to these parameters. For example drag a MAGNET controller from the library to the length channel and then drag then length channel to the width channel and choose instance option. Don’t forget that the safe range for size parameters is from zero to 1.0

      Is it possible to make changes to the arrayed object after it has been arrayed along the surface controller?
      may something like the functions of the linear controller, ( make changes to each cube in terms of position,scale or rotation corresponding to the other arrays of the object ) yet staying true to surface controller
