Joining Creative Kingdom Dubai

I have joined Creative Kingdom Dubai (C.K.D) since   December 2007 in position of Senior Architect Designer. C.K.D is one of the well-known and prestigious companies in field of conceptual design and master planning in Middle East. Everybody who have visited Dubai in recent years have either visited or heard of some elegant places such as Medinat Jumeirah,Palm Island (Jebel Ali) , World Island , Festival City, Park Hyatt. These places are obviously a part of most important developments in Dubai which have been done by C.K.D. Today I am responsible to design MAISON Residence in DOWNTOWN JEBEL-ALI located in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) which is 20 minutes far from Dubai along Sheikh Zahed Road. This project is the first visible structure one sees upon entering Down Town Jebel-ALi. The exclusive position of site marks the project as a Gate for Downtown Jebel-Ali .when the idea of being gate took place we decided to incorporate all plots to achieve the effect of having one great community. The mass of buildings now is like a magnificent presence overlooking to open space in middle. This effect has been created by transferring an arcade from its cartesian coordination system into spherical mapping system. The result is an elliptical form, easily readable and subdivided into number of horizontal strips that each one is representing one floor in building.
