| Today I am responsible to design MAISON Residence in DOWNTOWN JEBEL-ALI located in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) which is 20 minutes far from Dubai along Sheikh Zahed Road. This project is the first visible structure one sees upon entering Down Town Jebel-ALi. The exclusive position of site marks the project as a Gate for Downtown Jebel-Ali. |  |

When the idea of being gate took place we decided to incorporate all plots to achieve the effect of having one great community. The mass of buildings now is like a magnificent presence overlooking to open space in middle. This effect has been created by transferring an arcade from its cartesian coordination system into spherical mapping system. The result is an elliptical form, easily readable and subdivided into number of horizontal strips that each one is representing one floor in building. [Read More...] | ||||
